First Run After the Du

This morning's run was great. Beautiful morning, nice run, great breakfast and coffee and now I'm ready to start a very very busy and stressful day! In general I did feel a little sluggish and heavy. I ate very badly yesterday, so I can blame some of it on that. My legs seem to be recovered from the duathlon fine. My knee doesn't hurt any worse after the run, so I think it is from some kind of biking thing. Hopefully the week off of biking while in Greece will be good rest for it. I need to ride more often and not just all of the sudden go out and do 33 miles. That's like running 8 miles out of nowhere. ;)

I mapped the run...from what I could remember. Have to admit I get a little confused in the neighborhood. I got 3.1 miles, Casey. And we did it in 31 mintues, so that's a 10 minute mile. I think it felt harder than that, but I think we were both tired so maybe that is what it was.

Tuesday work, and belated Monday Weigh-in

I switched it up today since I didn't get out for a run yesterday, and decided to make it a cardio day. So, for the first time in a few months, I got on the elliptical and worked my ass off. Litterally, I needed a broom and pan to sweep it up when I was done, because I have not other explanation for how it was possible that I've lost 2 pounds over the holiday weekend.


tuesday weigh-in - 198lbs down 3 lbs from last monday, and 13 lbs since we started here.
